  Rick Price is one of Australia’s most accredited singer/songwriters. 1992 saw the emergence of such a talent with the singles “Not a Day Goes By”, “Walk Away Renee” and “Heaven Knows”.
  Rick has three ARIA nominations and numerous Australian Music Awards behind him and his album “Heaven Knows” achieved Top 40 status throughout Europe and with the album of the same name, it achieved Platinum status throughout Australia and South East Asia.
  In recent times Rick has devoted himself to songwriting and producing for other artists both in Australia and the United States and having just completed work on new material for a major film set for world wide release, Rick is currently working on tracks for a new solo album.   Following yet another highly successfully sold out tour through Europe, Phil Haley & His Comments are returning to Australia to shake, rattle and roll the socks off his audiences right here at Club Helensvale! In 1997, after being told time and time again of his resemblance to the late great Bill Haley, Phil decided to put together a group of musicians to form the band, Phil Haley and his Comments. Together the band began to create a unique style and sound, writing their own songs as well as covering some of the greatest rock n roll numbers ever to be written and performed by the late great Bill Haley. Be early to experience a taste of the authentic style and sound of the original rock n roll years, with this unique and highly energized band, proving once and for all that the music of Bill Haley and his Comets will never die.

  There are few Roy Orbison tribute shows around the world today. Not many performers have the vocal range that made Roy Orbison unique, those very few that have, don’t sound like the Big 'O'. Athol has the range, the sound and the look.... No one alive today performs Roy Orbison songs like Athol Matcham.....
  Athol Matcham's musical career began when he won a talent quest many years ago, singing a Roy Orbison song.......today Athol proudly performs as the umber one Roy Orbison Show in the world!!!

• Normie Rowe – Australia’s King of Pop Saturday 19th July at 8.30pm

  

  Normie Rowe was crowned Australia’s first King of Pop. It was the 60’s in Australia and Normie Rowe was Australia’s first pop star to receive a gold record, and repeated this another four times, setting new standards in the music industry, totalling five gold records. Normie toured nationally, performing to sellout concerts, normally reserved to overseas acts and his performances were electric! During this time he also crashed the UK with hit singles and on national tours with Gene Pitney and the Troggs. Today Normie Rowe is an Aussie icon, winning numerous awards and accolades from his peers, public and his Nation. Come and see him live at Club Helensvale.
